About the Role You will be an important part of the team responsible for the Swedish Armed Forces' virtualization and server platforms. The work includes: VMware vSphere, ESXi and vCenter Windows Server and Active Directory Linux-based server platforms Operation and management of server hardware Operating system hardening Automation and scripting with Red Hat Ansible IT security work Networking and firewalls Operation of complex IT environments with high security requirements Beyond platform work, you will: Perform operational system administration Contribute to the development and management of container platforms and modern platform services as the business evolves Participate in development and decommissioning of IT systems Serve as third-level technical support to the operations organization Ensure that systems and equipment are maintained according to established plans Test and verify new equipment before deployment Manage certificates and licenses according to current procedures Participate in technical reviews and change management Assist in training users and operators Perform configuration changes and functional modifications within the scope of system management We are looking for you who have Post-secondary education in IT, computer science, systems science, or network technology or equivalent competence acquired through work experience.
