We are now seeking a mechanic for Central Maintenance, Burner Service Department. Uddeholm operates furnaces heated with natural gas, and the task of our Burner Service team is to service and troubleshoot these furnaces. Your Role As an employee in Maintenance at Uddeholm, you have significant responsibility in working toward trouble-free production. We prioritize safety above all else, which is embedded in our work. Continuously eliminating sources of error will be part of your daily routine. The work is varied and you will have the opportunity to utilize and develop broad knowledge within your field. We conduct planned shutdowns where we clean burners and replace worn parts. We use SAP as our business and maintenance system where we search for and order spare parts as well as log time. Troubleshooting burners involves working with fault codes, flow measurements, exhaust gas analysis, and examining signals from the control system to draw conclusions. We work with planned shutdowns, preventive maintenance, and improvement maintenance along with continuous monitoring of our own equipment and installations.
