Store Manager at Pasago – New Gold Trading Establishment in Uppsala

Do you want to be part of establishing a brand new store concept in Sweden? Pasago is a Danish, rapidly growing company in gold trading and valuables that will open its first Swedish store in Uppsala in fall 2026. Pasago is an established gold buying and pawn bank chain with a modern, secure, and customer-focused business model. The company also operates NordiskGuld.se, where private individuals can easily and safely sell their gold. Now Pasago is taking the next step and establishing its gold buying operations in Sweden, with a focus on buying and valuing gold, jewelry, and other valuables. We are looking for a confident, driven, and business-oriented Store Manager who wants to be part of it from day one and build up the business together with us. This is a role for someone who thrives in an environment where things are happening, where you have great opportunities to influence both work methods and customer experience, and where you are at the same time a central part of the company's establishment and future expansion in Sweden. The position should be filled immediately or by agreement. About the Role As Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating a secure and professional store environment where customers feel welcome and valued. You will initially work alone in the store and have broad responsibilities, from daily operations to gold valuation and building structures. Training in gold valuation will be provided by experienced colleagues, and clear processes are in place. As the business grows, you will be responsible for recruiting and shaping your own team at the store. You will play an important role in developing Pasago's presence on the Swedish market. Your Areas of Responsibility Build up the store's routines, processes, and work methods from the start. Meet customers and conduct tests, valuations, and purchases of gold. Ensure that all routines comply with applicable regulations, including AML/KYC. Create a secure, accessible, and professional customer experience. Drive sales, monitor key metrics, and take full responsibility for the store's results. Recruit and develop staff as the store grows. Contribute to establishing additional stores in Sweden over time. We are Looking for You Have experience in store operations and preferably leadership in a store environment. Are accustomed to working in roles with high trust and customer contact. Are organized, thorough, and confident in following routines and processes. Have good administrative skills and basic financial understanding. Are self-driven, take initiative, and are comfortable with broad responsibility. Have high integrity and a professional demeanor. Experience from pawn banks, gold/jewelry, or premium retail is a merit, but not a requirement. Who Are You as a Person? We believe that you are driven by creating structure, shaping work methods, and developing a business that is at the beginning of its journey. You radiate confidence, appreciate order and structure, and enjoy working both operationally and strategically. You are passionate about building something from the ground up and about delivering a customer experience that stands out in the industry. If this sounds like the next step for you, we warmly welcome your application! Selection is ongoing, and the position may therefore be closed before the final application deadline. In this recruitment, we are collaborating with Retail Recruitment, with responsible recruitment consultant Malin Niklasson. Nofipa is a rapidly growing company that helps private individuals unlock value from their assets. Since our start in 2018, we have launched several successful concepts within pawning, gold trading, vintage jewelry, and direct buying of valuables (including Pantsat.dk, NordiskGuld, AnothersLegacy, and Strakssalg.dk). We currently have over 3,900 unique customers in Denmark, a strong recurring customer base, and rapidly increasing revenue. The company continues to expand with new locations throughout Denmark and is actively investing to enable continued growth.
