About the Unit 163rd Garrison Battalion consists of the Logistics Company, the Garrison Company and shortly also the Training Company, which together create the conditions for assigned units to be able to focus on solving their main tasks. About the Unit F 16 A4's primary task is to provide long-term functional leadership of internal logistics at the squadron level and serve as decision support to the Commander of F 16. The department has functionally specialized positions that provide guidance leading the squadron's operations in areas such as technical services, supply procurement, healthcare, transportation services, and command. The department has both specialists and officers who analyze, prepare, and follow up on matters within their functional area. A4 is the Commander F 16's responsible unit for ensuring that combat units receive the correct logistical support in peace, crisis, or war, and thereby maintain and strengthen operational effectiveness. Primary Responsibilities As a logistics officer at A4, you will work comprehensively across all logistics areas at the squadron level, but primarily within supply procurement. The position involves planning, preparation, and development of decision-making materials as well as representing the department when needed. The logistics officer also supports the development of general guidelines and procedures. You will also work together with others throughout the staff to lead the squadron forward.
