About the Unit
163rd Garrison Battalion consists of the Logistics Company, the Garrison Company and shortly also the Training Company, which together create the conditions for assigned units to be able to focus on solving their main tasks. Logistics within NATO and the Swedish Armed Forces is divided into four main areas: supply, transport, medical care and technical services.
The Logistics Company (formerly LogE Uppsala) leads the planning, implementation and follow-up of logistics and support activities within the garrison. The Logistics Unit Staff functions as the company's planning and coordination function and provides operational support within supply procurement, technical services and transport services. The department has several case handlers and officers who analyze, prepare and follow up matters within their functional area.
Main Responsibilities
As a logistics officer at the Logistics Unit Staff, you work with all areas of logistics, but primarily within supply procurement with focus on war positioning and inventory resource planning. You plan, follow up and, if necessary, train within the scope of your given task. You support the establishment of general guidelines and procedures. You work together with other logistics officers and case handlers on the staff.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Trained specialist officer with logistics focus
Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
Driver's license category B
