Nurse for Neurology Department in Lund

On our second unit, we evaluate patients with difficult-to-treat epilepsy in preparation for possible surgery as well as severe movement disorders in preparation for pump treatment and surgery. Tora Vega Folkhögskola Tora Vega Folkhögskola launched its first care and health education program in August 2025, and we are now looking for more committed pedagogues/teachers who want to join us and continue developing the education together with us. Welcome to become part of Tora Vega Folkhögskola! Duties and Placement You will work with colleagues to further develop our care and health education program that opened in Åkarp in fall 2025. Your responsibilities include: Teaching students in the care and health education program Serving as a mentor Planning, conducting, and following up on instruction Assessing and documenting students' knowledge development Guiding in various learning situations, both at school and in connection with APL (workplace-based learning) Actively and proactively participating in development work, both independently and together with colleagues and school leadership Administrative tasks As a pedagog, you create conditions for a stimulating learning and educational process. You work motivatingly and build relationships, and have the ability to meet students based on their individual needs. You are part of a team where pedagogues with different subject expertise collaborate. Administrative tasks are a natural part of the position. The workplace is primarily in Åkarp, but teaching and administrative tasks in Lund and Landskrona may occur. If needed, teaching may also take place within other parts of our educational activities. Qualifications We are primarily seeking someone who is a certified vocational teacher in care and health. Alternatively: You are studying supplementary vocational teacher education in care and health, or You are educated as a nurse or nursing assistant with relevant work experience and intend to study to become a vocational teacher You have: Very good digital competence and experience using digital tools and media in instruction Good ability to motivate, coach, and support students based on their individual circumstances A professional and respectful approach toward students and colleagues Ability and willingness to collaborate in a team Meritorious: Preferably relevant work experience from hospitals, health centers, or acute healthcare. We would like to see that you have strong knowledge in psychiatry, anatomy, disability, and healthcare Experience working in upper secondary school, adult education, and/or folk high schools You are pedagogically confident, see the bigger picture, and adapt easily to change. You thrive in an environment that places high demands on flexibility, responsibility, initiative, and social competence.
