About the Position We are looking for someone with a background in carpentry, concrete, or construction for our client just outside Eskilstuna. The position begins with a training and introductory period of approximately 1–1.5 months, during which you will have the opportunity to learn the work tasks, routines, and work methods on site. After the introductory period, the plan is for the work to transition into a temporary/extra position as needed. The position is therefore ideal for you if, for example, you are a student, have another job, are seeking extra work alongside other employment, or want to test working for a new company and get your foot in the industry. The scope of work will be determined by the company's needs as well as your performance, work effort, and ability to deliver quality work. The work tasks include, among other things, reinforcement, casting, forming, and blueprint reading. The company manufactures prefabricated structural elements and has its own production of both steel frames and concrete elements. Your Profile You will work primarily with the manufacture of the company's prefabricated concrete elements. This means you will finish walls and other concrete elements for delivery and assembly. As a concrete worker, you will mainly work with: Forming, reinforcing, and casting concrete walls according to manufacturing documentation and instructions. Working with great precision and accuracy. Ensuring that the correct embedded materials are cast in the right places in the products. Working together with a team to achieve the day's set goals. Maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety. Reading and understanding blueprints and manufacturing documentation. We are looking for someone with a secondary education or equivalent work experience. You have logical thinking, are thorough, and are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have previously worked with concrete, reinforcement, carpentry, or similar construction tasks. As a person, you are quick to learn new things and are driven, responsible, and thorough. You can deliver good quality even when the pace is high and you work well with others. Since the work is performed in a team, it is important that you have a positive attitude and contribute to good cooperation in the workplace.
