About the Role as Support Assistant As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal service plan as a starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we base our work on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work using clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal approaches to create security and predictability in users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget. Qualifications You are relationship-focused, calm, stable, and able to maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive way, and you enjoy working together with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs. We place great importance on personal suitability. Requirements: Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills and experience with documentation. Experience working in healthcare and care services. Upper secondary education such as childcare and leisure program, healthcare and social care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field. Meriting factors if you also have: Experience in psychiatry, AAC and low-arousal approaches. Worked with complex support needs. Employment Terms Employment type: 1 temporary position until December 31, 2026 with possibility of extension, 3 hourly positions. Degree of engagement: Temporary position approximately 100% employment. Hourly position - as needed. Working hours: Day, evening, night, and weekends.
