About the Department Regional Habilitation Services in Region Västernorrland consists of approximately 100 employees located in Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik. We work in multidisciplinary teams with medical, neuropsychological, social, and educational expertise to serve children, adolescents, and adults with permanent functional disabilities. Our largest target groups are people with intellectual disabilities, autism, and cerebral palsy. At the Habilitation Services clinic in Sollefteå, there are two psychology positions—one in the children's team and one in a combined adolescent/adult team. We are now seeking a new colleague for the adolescent/adult team. With us, you will find a workplace with close collaboration between professions. The team includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, speech-language pathologists, and psychologists, and we also work with habilitation physicians and nurses. You will have access to both internal and external supervision as well as opportunities for further education. Optional work location (Sollefteå, Sundsvall, or Örnsköldsvik), but work will be conducted at the Habilitation Services clinic in Sollefteå. This means you will be on-site at the clinic in Sollefteå when seeing patients. Opportunity for remote work for part of your time is available. The psychologist position is a permanent, full-time employment with a start date by agreement. Responsibilities As a psychologist with us, you will, among other things: - Conduct neuropsychological assessments of varying scope - Work with diagnosis, treatment, and support for our patients and their families - Contribute psychological expertise to the multidisciplinary team - Provide consultation and training to staff groups - Collaborate with other healthcare providers and actors in the patient's network As a psychologist in the team, you will have a central role in contributing psychological expertise to the team's work. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with other professions, and you will have good opportunities to influence work organization and develop methods and approaches. You will receive tailored orientation based on your experience and background, with support from colleagues and supervision. Responsibilities In your role as Nursing Manager, you work to create good organizational and working conditions for staff together with unit managers. You will support and guide your colleagues in nursing care and treatment based on guidelines and policy documents. An increased understanding of patient flow contributes to efficient and safe patient care. As Nursing Manager, you will work with: Coordinating, prioritizing, and leading the team's daily work. Creating structure and confidence by coordinating staffing. Introducing new staff members to work procedures, routines, and scheduling.
