Job Description We are now seeking a production supervisor with a focus on sheet metal and welding! As a production supervisor, you will have direct contact with our clients in the prison's production department. In your daily interaction with inmates, your work involves contributing to their learning and also encouraging them to reflect on their situation. As a production supervisor with us, you participate in all aspects of employment activities, while also having your own specialized area where you develop expertise. You are responsible for guiding and supervising inmates in daily operations. The work involves planning, assigning, and following up on work tasks, while you yourself participate in production. You are responsible for the entire process, from idea to finished product, with a consistent focus on quality. You also contribute to developing procedures, collaborate closely with other production supervisors and professional groups, and are an important part of inmates' learning, development, and social training. As a production supervisor, you are part of the security work, which means you may, for example, conduct searches. The role does not involve personnel management responsibility, but you are responsible for the daily supervision of inmates. This position is a temporary assignment due to an employee's leave of absence. The assignment covers the period October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027.
