Production Manager

Located in a place with a rich working-class history in the mining and steel industry spanning over 150 years, we are proud to continue this tradition through our work. Today we have 85 employees, headquartered in Smedjebacken with over 50 years of experience in the mining, steel, and rolling mill industry. www.rollingmill.se We are now seeking an engaged and results-driven operational production manager who wants to lead our production, develop our employees, and drive continuous improvement within the business area of New Assembly of underground mining equipment. About the Role As production manager, you will have overall responsibility together with the Workshop Manager for daily production and will work both operatively and strategically with focus on the operational side. You will lead and develop production with a focus on organization and order, safety, quality, delivery precision, and cost efficiency. You will become an important part of the company's management and will collaborate closely with the Workshop Manager, operational Shift Supervisors, and Logistics Manager. The role includes, among other things: · Leading and coaching. · Ensuring that production reaches set targets for quality, efficiency, and delivery. · Responsibility for capacity utilization and resource allocation. · Actively working with work environment and safety. · Ensuring that routines and processes comply with applicable requirements and standards. · Creating an engaged and responsible production culture. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for you who are a confident and clear leader with experience from industrial production. You thrive in an environment where the pace can be high and where you need to be able to switch between different operational decisions. We would like to see that you have: · Several years of leadership experience in manufacturing industry. · Experience with personnel and production responsibility. · Good understanding of production processes and continuous improvement work. · Experience working with production KPIs and follow-up. · A structured and solution-oriented work approach. · Good communication skills and ability to create engagement. · Relevant technical or industrial education, or equivalent experience.
