Care Assistant

Rēzekne City Municipality Administration "Social Services" Duties: Provide client care in accordance with the client's self-care abilities, health status, mobility, functionality, and individual care plan. Ensure basic physiological needs: nutrition and fluid intake (serve meals, feed client if necessary, assist healthcare specialist in tube feeding, provide hydration), hygiene procedures (perform oral care and denture cleaning, perform face and hair care, perform perineal care, perform body and bed linen changes), elimination processes (provide conditions for urination and defecation, assist client to toilet chair or bedpan, use urinal (bedpan), provide incontinence care), ensure individual mobility needs (assist client with dressing and undressing, help get in/out of bed, sit, lie down; position client, help client use technical aids). 3. Monitor client health status and report any deterioration to the on-duty nurse. 4. Provide client support and supervision in medication use. 5. Provide palliative care. 6. Maintain the client's environment in order: 7. Regularly observe and monitor clients, ensure safety of client surroundings. 8. Document client care progress in "Client Individual Care and Rehabilitation Form" and other documents. 9. Assist kitchen staff in serving meals to clients. Requirements: Secondary vocational education with qualification "Care Assistant" or "Nurse's Assistant" or general basic education and professional development education with qualification "Care Assistant" or educational program "Social Care".
