Personal Assistant to Nature-Loving Woman

The LSS department is the third-largest department within the welfare administration, with the mission to implement decisions made according to the LSS law, primarily decisions regarding housing with special services, personal assistance, and daily activities. The goal of the support provided is to promote equality in living conditions and full participation in community life so that individuals who have been granted support have the opportunity to live like others. Our work is carried out through individually tailored, high-quality support with self-determination, where good treatment permeates all activities. We are seeking an engaged and goal-oriented personal assistant for a woman who enjoys outdoor nature walks and other activities. This is an extended temporary position at 100% with employment period 261101-271031, though the start date is subject to agreement. Responsibilities You will be responsible for, together with the service user, establishing and following up implementation plans, other social documentation, and additional administrative tasks/responsibilities such as scheduling, purchase orders, health and safety. Together with your colleagues, you will carry out daily and planned support services and activities with the service user, and support and motivate them in daily activities at home and during leisure time. This includes building trusting relationships with service users and being a good role model. You will ensure that support services are based on the service user's individual needs, promote independence, participation, and are carried out with respect for the user's integrity and self-determination. You will assist with, among other things, daily chores and activities, personal hygiene, and medication. The work often means you may work alone, and working hours vary as we provide services during day, evening, weekends, and night. You will drive development work forward together with colleagues according to established goals, methods, quality requirements, and other guidelines. Collaborating with the service user's network, other staff, and other partners is also an important part of the work. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a secondary education diploma in either the Care and Health Program with specialization in disability or psychiatry, the Youth and Leisure Program with a focus on social work or educational work, or other equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent.
