About Subtopia Subtopia is a production space for culture in Alby, Botkyrka. Here, artists, film producers, circus companies, nonprofit organizations, and other creators work to realize their dreams and make the world better. About the Position We are looking for a versatile designer with expertise in video (filming, editing, and motion graphics). You will have primary responsibility for Subtopia's visual identity and create everything from printed materials to video content. The position also includes being an operationally responsible communicator for one of Subtopia's activity areas, with tasks that encompass the entire process from collaborating with the department to create a marketing plan to implementing the plan and analyzing results. Examples of tasks that may be included in the position are creating printed materials such as posters and brochures, filming and editing interviews, and creating animated ads for campaigns targeting everyone from local youth to international production companies. You will be part of Subtopia's marketing department, which consists of four people. We place great emphasis on working as a team. We brainstorm ideas, help each other find solutions to problems, and collectively set the department's goals. We value the opportunity to continuously develop our skills and learn new things. The position is on-site (not remote) and includes some evening and weekend work. The position involves working toward Subtopia's overarching goals and mission. This means there may be work tasks outside the scope of the position. Required Competencies: ● Relevant education or documented work experience in similar work. ● Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. ● Experience creating motion content for social media. ● Experience conducting target audience analysis. ● Basic knowledge of Meta Business. Meritorious: ● Photography experience. ● WordPress experience. ● Google Analytics experience. ● Google Ads experience. ● Knowledge of Botkyrka. ● Project management within the cultural sector. ● Multilingual competence. More About the Workplace Subtopia develops and operates support activities for artists. We have, among other things, a cultural incubator, promotion work for circus artists, artistic youth activities, and open walls for art. We also rent our spaces for everything from TV productions and production rehearsals to corporate events and stage productions. Practical Information About the Position and Application The position is employment at Subtopia, part of Upplev Botkyrka AB and a wholly owned subsidiary of Botkyrka Municipality. Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period. The position is full-time and we practice individual salary setting. Evening and weekend work may occur. Flexible hours are applied. Tradesmen's collective agreement. The position is on-site (not remote). Start date by agreement. Uplev Botkyrka AB has a collective agreement through Fremia and is a member of the national organization Folkets Hus och Parker, FHP. This position is covered by the Handels salaried employee agreement.
