The Housing Unit has a unified mandate for housing matters, involving both authority functions and service delivery related to the social service's responsibility for housing provision and eviction prevention work. The city's budget and debt counseling is also organized under the unit. We are now seeking a social secretary as our current colleague is moving on to a new assignment. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The unit's work is directed toward a broad target group that is experiencing or at risk of homelessness. However, we are not responsible for housing solutions for individuals with needs for care and treatment due to substance abuse issues, extensive psychiatric problems, or criminality. In your professional role, you combine authority functions with active outreach and advisory work to prevent evictions. You investigate and make decisions regarding the right to housing support services and financial assistance for individuals experiencing structural homelessness. Parts of your advisory work are conducted as interventions without needs assessment. You actively work with processes, develop action plans and assignments. You support individuals toward independence. You will work closely with housing support workers who handle contract follow-up, apartment searches, and housing planning. Internal and external collaboration is a major part of your work. This includes, for example, external collaboration with landlords and the enforcement authority. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a social worker (socionom). You must have previous work experience with authority functions within social services. It is advantageous if you have investigated the right to housing services or assistance for overnight accommodation. You should be interested in and well familiar with housing issues within social services. You should also have experience working with socially vulnerable individuals. You are accustomed to documentation and have ease in expressing yourself in speech and writing. If you have experience with the data support system Treserva, that is an advantage. You are a structured and solution-focused person with the will and ability to independently organize your work. At the same time, you are attentive and have a professional approach with the assignment and the user in focus. The Care and Social Services Administration with approximately 1500 employees is one of the administrations in Mölndal's city and encompasses elder care, support for people with disabilities and health and medical care. The Social Psychiatry Authority is now seeking two new employees. The unit consists of eight social workers, one senior social worker and a unit manager. The unit is organized into a reception team and a follow-up team. The unit's mission is to exercise public authority in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) regarding the target group of adults with mental health disabilities. The unit has high expertise and great drive and commitment to the mission. WORK DUTIES We are seeking two employees who can independently exercise public authority in accordance with current legislation, guidelines and procedures. The position involves processing applications/requests in accordance with SoL and LSS. The work includes informing, investigating, assessing, making decisions and following up on interventions. You work to ensure legal protection for the individual and the work also involves promoting the development of the individual's independence. The role includes cooperation with both internal and external parties. You will also contribute to and participate in the development of the operations. When needed, you will present cases in individual committees. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking you who has a degree in social work. You have previous experience working with public authority and experience working with the social psychiatry target group within public authority or within service provision. You need to have good knowledge of the Social Services Act by having made public authority decisions based on SoL. Experience working in Treserva and with IBIC is a merit. You are good at adapting yourself and your work approach based on changing circumstances. You can quickly change your perspective and approach as well as see opportunities in changes. Additionally, you have the ability to be attentive and listen to others in order to understand their perspectives/needs and you actively seek the perspectives and viewpoints of others and are receptive to them. You see failures as something to learn from and create space for dialogue. We are seeking you who are strategic, think long-term and have a broad perspective on work-related issues. You have a holistic view and the ability to analyze the current situation and can use your analysis to methodically plan ahead. The Adult Unit, which is part of the Social and Labor Market Administration, meets adult Mölndal residents with support needs related to harmful use and addiction, comorbidity, criminality, and other psychosocial issues. We are in an exciting development phase with the implementation of new social services legislation and the upcoming new comorbidity reform. The reform means responsibility for treatment transfers to the region, while the social services' mission is clarified regarding support, housing, and employment. The Adult Unit now has an open position as a social worker for the target group 25 years and older. We are looking for someone driven to work with this target group and who wants to help our clients achieve maximum independence and increase their empowerment. The Adult Unit works with both authority functions and service delivery and consists of approximately 30 employees. We currently have seven social workers working with the target group 25 years and older. Other unit members work in our reception function, with young adults (18-24 years), and with support and housing services. On the unit, we work closely together with close management consisting of two unit managers, two senior social workers, and a methodology supervisor. We have broad expertise and diverse backgrounds, but share strong commitment and good collegial support. We offer, among other things, external process supervision, gym access, flexible working hours, and a generous health and wellness allowance. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a social worker on the Adult Unit, you work with investigating applications and reports mainly concerning harmful use and addiction and comorbidity, but also other psychosocial issues in adults. The work is based on the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Care of Substance Abusers in Certain Cases (LVM). You investigate needs and determine eligibility for assistance and follow up on interventions in the form of outpatient care and 24-hour care. Your role includes support and motivation work and following up on received reports in ongoing cases. As a social worker with us, you collaborate extensively, both internally and externally. In our cases, we work closely with our own outpatient care service, which provides treatment, care and support coordination, and supported housing. We work based on the principle of "home first," which means more services should be provided in the home. Other collaboration occurs with economic assistance, labor market units, and the care and services administration. We offer Housing First. We collaborate with healthcare, including by offering ACT-crisis teams and through collaboration with both primary care and specialized care. QUALIFICATIONS You should have a degree in social work or another higher education degree that the employer considers equivalent. We hope you have previous work experience with authority functions within social services and experience working with people with addiction issues and comorbidity.
