Engaged Treatment Assistant for Hourly Temporary Work

At the youth home Muggebo, we are a small, family-like organization with a big heart and are now looking for engaged hourly temporary workers who want to strengthen our team. About us: The youth home Muggebo is a small residential treatment facility where we help young girls and boys aged 12-18 with psychosocial problems expressed through self-harm, acting out, early substance abuse, deviant norms and values, and relationship disorders back to a functioning everyday life. We try to create an environment that is as home-like as possible. The core of our approach is to help young people develop their social skills together with their peers. One of the foundations of treatment is relationship building. No day is the same as another. As a temporary worker, you are an important adult role model who is close to the young people in their daily lives. The work can involve everything from having motivating conversations and supporting treatment, to documenting and helping with daily tasks. You contribute with calm when things are stormy – and you celebrate progress together with the young people. Additional information We strive for a work group with evenly distributed men and women, so we are now seeking both male and female applicants. Experience with relevant education such as treatment educator, treatment assistant, social educator, social psychologist, social worker, teacher, or nurse is desirable.
