We are now looking for a unit manager for our new prevention and health promotion unit, a key role in Kramfors Municipality's welfare transformation. As a unit manager, you get a unique and strategic assignment: to lead, build up and develop the municipality's collective work in prevention and health promotion measures. The unit is responsible for leading, coordinating and developing work to create early, accessible and knowledge-based initiatives for residents. You create structure, working methods and collaboration that ensure we reach the right residents at the right time and thereby strengthen health, independence and quality of life. You lead a broad and competent work group with different professions, including the municipality's dementia team, who together work preventively, rehabilitatively and health-promotingly in close collaboration with the target group. The position is filled based on agreement and required decisions. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS This is a role for you who wants to drive development and change in practice. You get to be involved from the beginning and build an operation that makes a difference, both for residents and for the future of welfare. The work starts within elderly care and municipal health and medical care, with a focus on early, outreach and health promotion initiatives. In the long term, the unit will develop and also include support for people with disabilities and individual and family care. The health promotion and prevention unit will initially be organizationally placed within elderly care. To succeed, we need to work together. In your role as unit manager, collaboration is a central part of the assignment, both internally and externally. You will: • develop cooperation between different operations within the municipality • build strong relationships with civil society, associations and business • work in close dialogue with residents and target groups to create relevant and effective initiatives The work is conducted in co-creation, where residents' needs and perspectives are a natural starting point. The assignment is an important part of the major changes taking place in welfare. You drive development in line with the new Social Services Act and the transformation towards good and close care. This means that you think new, challenge traditional ways of working and contribute to shifting the focus from reactive measures to a more preventive and health-promoting approach. QUALIFICATIONS We offer an exciting and challenging assignment and are looking for you who have higher education that the employer considers relevant. You have previous documented management experience and it is a merit if you also have education in management and leadership. Experience from health and medical care and/or social services as well as knowledge of work in a politically governed organization is seen as an advantage. You have good communication skills, express yourself well in speech and writing, have good computer skills and speak Swedish well, and have a B driving license.
