About the Position The warehouse in Karlshamn handles various types of goods for new and existing customers. The position consists largely of warehouse work where picking, packing, and forklift driving are included. As a warehouse worker at DFDS, you will primarily work within warehouse logistics, which involves a lot of driving with reach forklifts and counterbalance forklifts. Picking and packing will also be part of your tasks. Here you won't just be moving things from A to B; you may also face complex assignments that require focus and dexterity from you. You will encounter customers from around the world who demand one specific thing – good service. Main Responsibilities Operate reach forklifts Picking and transport assignments Loading and unloading goods Efficiently stack and store products Perform other warehouse-related tasks Your Profile We are looking for someone with a forklift license who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and work. Getting the job done is important to you, and you enjoy working both independently and as part of a team with your colleagues. The most common tasks you will perform are loading, unloading, picking, and packing everything from small boxes to entire pallets. Therefore, we need you with great confidence in operating reach forklifts and a positive attitude toward your daily tasks! We want you to have: Experience driving forklifts with emphasis on reach forklift B-3 Forklift license type A-B Good knowledge of Swedish and English. Application This is a fixed-term position for on-call work with working hours during daytime, Monday-Friday. Start date by agreement.
