Physiotherapist
1 position(s).
Physiotherapist for Hjo Municipality
About the workplace
The Health and Care Unit in Hjo consists of approximately 30 employees responsible for all healthcare and rehabilitation for the municipality's patients. Work is carried out both in home care and in special accommodation and short-term units. We are a socially oriented work group where the goal is to develop and enjoy work. We actively work on development within our unit; we want to be at the forefront when it comes to digital working methods, including mobile documentation systems, digital signing, digital locks for all patients, medication robots, and more.
About the role
We now want to strengthen our cohesive rehabilitation team, which consists of 4 occupational therapists, 3 physiotherapists, and 2 rehabilitation assistants. We are facing a change where we will launch a new role in our operations, MAR (medical responsible for rehabilitation). There is an opportunity for you as an applicant to participate in this development.
As a physiotherapist with us, you will work independently with the freedom to plan and organize your workday based on patients' needs. In our team, you work closely with occupational therapists, nurses, rehabilitation assistants, and care staff, which creates a holistic perspective on patients' care and rehabilitation. You conduct physiotherapy assessments and treatment independently or joint assessments together with your team. You prescribe rehabilitative interventions that rehabilitation assistants or care staff carry out. We view the work approach with rehabilitation assistants as an important piece of the puzzle to achieve the goals you set together with your patients. We have regular team meetings where care staff also participate. It also includes training and educating care staff in transfers and ergonomics.
As an employee in Hjo Municipality, there are several benefits to take advantage of; you can read more about this and about us as an employer on Hjo.se, and please feel free to watch a video clip from several of our team members.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a licensed physiotherapist and has a valid B driver's license. You need to be proficient in Swedish both spoken and written.
As a person, you are self-driven and independent while being attentive to patients' needs and having the ability to cooperate with both colleagues, relatives, and other partners. You have the ability to train and delegate tasks to relevant care staff and follow up on interventions. You are a warm colleague who wants to work with us for close and quality care.
