Development Manager for IT Service
Are you driven by development, improvement, and making things happen? Then this could be the role for you! Your Responsibilities As a development manager within IT Service, you will be the engine of our continuous improvement efforts. You'll be part of the user support and product provisioning area, which means you'll work in the heart of our operational IT delivery—from the Service Desk's daily support to logistics, procurement, and lifecycle management. You report directly to the area manager and serve as their extended arm in translating strategic goals into smooth, efficient ways of working in daily operations. Your primary task is to analyze, develop, and ensure quality in our processes so that we deliver maximum value to our end users with minimal friction. This includes: Analyze and identify: By reviewing data, case flows, and key metrics, you identify bottlenecks and development needs in our processes. Design and simplify: You map out and refine our ways of working based on ITIL principles, focusing on creating practical, pragmatic workflows that work in employees' reality. Lead change: You facilitate workshops, document new procedures, and drive improvement initiatives through close and educational collaboration with our team leaders and specialists. Understand business needs: You maintain ongoing dialogue with our business units to understand how IT support, user assistance, and product provisioning work in their daily operations. You translate needs, feedback, and user perspectives into concrete improvements that make it easier for employees to get the right support, the right equipment, and the right conditions to do their work. Your Qualifications To succeed in this role, you are driven by change and see the value in developing and challenging existing ways of working. You combine a strategic perspective with strong operational capability, where you independently plan, structure, and break down tasks into clear steps to create momentum. You take initiative and are confident in making decisions, even when conditions change or are not fully defined. At the same time, you are an enabler in the organization—through clear and straightforward communication, you create dialogue, build trust, and contribute to a culture where collaboration and feedback drive the work forward. Personal suitability carries significant weight. Requirements: At least 2 years of experience in business development, process development, or project management within an IT organization. Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent knowledge acquired through practical work experience. Very strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish.
