We are responsible for the municipality's care for individuals and families, the elderly, people with disabilities, municipal health and care services, as well as employment, integration, and adult education. WORK TASKS The municipal primary care's mission is to provide health and care services in the person's own home. We care for patients in both ordinary and special housing as well as within disability services. We offer stimulating and varied work with good camaraderie in the work team. As a nurse, you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and following up on health and care services. You manage medication, specific nursing care, and documentation. Your daily work is varied and involves close collaboration with colleagues and family members. You will, among other things: • Assess and plan care services based on patient needs • Implement and follow up on treatments and medication management • Supervise, delegate, and train nursing staff • Provide advice and support to users and family members • Contribute to good teamwork and a safe care environment Health and care work within the municipality is broad and varied—no two days are the same. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking additional nursing assistants/care aides for permanent monthly employment at Home Care Gnesta Countryside, where together with us you want to provide the best possible care and support to our elderly care recipients. Working in home care means you support and assist care recipients in their own homes based on approved services. Your work includes practical help with personal hygiene, meal support, activities, laundry, cleaning, shopping, accompanying for appointments such as doctor visits, social documentation, and more. You will also perform health and medical care tasks following instruction and delegation from a nurse, such as administering insulin and medications. As a nursing assistant/care aide in home care, you get varied work where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life. Working hours are flexible and may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends. QUALIFICATIONS We value appropriate care training, preferably nursing assistant certification.
