The position is located at the Social Services Department, which works to offer residents of Gnesta Municipality good and accessible service based on individual needs. We are responsible for the municipality's care for individuals and families, the elderly, people with disabilities, municipal health and care services, as well as employment, integration, and adult education. The department operates on behalf of the Social Services Committee.

WORK TASKS
The municipal primary care's mission is to provide health and care services in the person's own home. We care for patients in both ordinary and special housing as well as within disability services. We offer stimulating and varied work with good camaraderie in the work team. As a nurse, you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and following up on health and care services. You manage medication, specific nursing care, and documentation. Your daily work is varied and involves close collaboration with colleagues and family members.
You will, among other things:
• Assess and plan care services based on patient needs
• Implement and follow up on treatments and medication management
• Supervise, delegate, and train nursing staff
• Provide advice and support to users and family members
• Contribute to good teamwork and a safe care environment
Health and care work within the municipality is broad and varied—no two days are the same. You work closely with nursing staff, other licensed personnel, and various actors from the region. You have great opportunity for a flexible workday as you can manage and plan your own tasks. You see the whole picture in patients' medical care and make prioritizations based on current needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Swedish registered nurse license
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Class B driver's license and experience driving a car
As a nurse, you are confident in yourself and have good self-awareness. You take responsibility for your work tasks in an independent and structured manner and enjoy having your own areas of responsibility. Being responsive and accommodating in your interactions with colleagues, patients, and others is a given for you. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to ensure that information reaches its destination. Additionally, you adapt easily to change and promote a good work environment. Your commitment and positive attitude contribute to a pleasant atmosphere in the work team.
