About the position: As a kitchen assistant with us, you will have a central role in the kitchen. Your tasks will include preparing and cooking cold dishes and lighter warm dishes such as salads, appetizers, sandwiches, and desserts. WeMind HVB is a subsidiary of WeMind Psychiatry that operates a treatment home for young men with mental health issues. We are located on a fantastic farm on Gålö in Haninge Municipality. Our premise is that placed young people need extraordinarily good interventions to reverse negative development. That's why we invest in a concept where care is designed and delivered by highly specialized professionals who work closely with young people in their daily lives. Working as a Treatment Assistant at WeMind HVB As a treatment assistant with us, you primarily work supporting young people in their daily routines. Most importantly, this means you become a key person in implementing our interaction strategies, one of the most important parts of our treatment model. In practical terms, the work includes being available to plan and carry out recreational activities, supporting school and work engagement, and assisting with daily routines around waking/bedtime, activities, and meals. If you show interest and aptitude, you can also assist with planned treatment interventions in collaboration with our psychologists and/or serve as a contact person with expanded responsibility in network-based work. We are seeking an engaged and driven treatment pedagogue for our activity center at Gålö HVB for boys aged 14-18. The activity center aims to provide meaningful engagement for young people who do not have the ability to manage employment outside the HVB home. It can also serve as a complement to, for example, school. Individual treatment plans form the basis for each young person's activities at the center. Operations run on weekdays (approx. 09.00–16.00) and have an ambition to eventually also receive young people from other operations. About the role Temporary position Sept 2026 - June 2027. You collaborate with each young person's team, as well as with a colleague in the kitchen, and are responsible for planning, organizing, and driving the operation forward.
