At the turn of the year, the management of the municipality's properties will transition from the municipal company Båstadhem to Båstads municipality. In connection with this, a new management organization will be established with responsibility for the municipality's property portfolio. Now we are looking for you to take a key role in building, leading, and developing the municipality's new operations organization. As Operations Manager, you are an important driving force in the development of the organization where efficient operations, long-term thinking, and good service go hand in hand. DUTIES As Operations Manager, you are responsible for leading and developing the operations organization and creating conditions for professional and cost-effective property management. You are part of the management team and actively contribute to the strategic development of property management. You also play an important role in the development of the municipality's property portfolio and in ensuring that the municipality's facilities are fit for purpose for the operations conducted there. Your responsibilities include: • lead, develop, and organize operations activities • have personnel responsibility for the operations organization • be responsible for budget, financial monitoring, and cost-effectiveness; develop structures and working methods for operations and maintenance • ensure good communication and cooperation within and outside the organization • identify synergies and opportunities for efficiency improvements within the municipal group • be responsible for planning and development of property operations, maintenance, repairs, and upkeep • work with energy optimization and sustainable operations • ensure a well-functioning fault reporting system • be responsible for and develop cleaning services. Under the Operations Manager, the municipality's operational organization is organized, which includes: • cleaning services organization • property technicians. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with future vision and clear, present, and developmental leadership. You have: • university education or other relevant education combined with professional experience in the property field that the employer deems equivalent • experience as an Operations Manager in a property organization or experience from an equivalent leadership role • documented high technical competence in property operations • experience with personnel and budget responsibility • good understanding of efficient and long-term sustainable property management • Category B driver's license. It is a merit if you have experience from a municipal organization or other publicly managed operations. You are a responsive, confident, and committed leader who builds trust and helps people grow.
