We are now seeking a maintenance mechanic for our maintenance department. With us, you'll get a varied and practical role where you work with both preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and development projects. This position is a 1-year temporary assignment with good opportunities for extension. What the role entails The maintenance department currently consists of three employees who together are responsible for: The daily operation of the coffee roastery. Preventive maintenance of machinery and the facility. Machine adjustments as well as modifications and installations. Emergency repairs and troubleshooting for operational disruptions and breakdowns. Managing and implementing improvement projects of varying scope. Our coffee factory consists of both older and newer equipment, and we do much of the maintenance work ourselves. Therefore, we are looking for you to have broad technical expertise and enjoy solving problems in everyday work. For this role, knowledge in mechanics, pneumatics, and electronics is valuable. Workshop experience, good collaboration skills, and a strong safety mindset are also important. We are in constant development with many ongoing projects. Therefore, you need to be comfortable taking on challenges where the path forward is not always clear and where clear instructions are sometimes lacking. Who we are looking for We believe you: Have a post-secondary technical education or equivalent experience. Have previous experience from the food or process industry. Have a strong interest in technology and broad technical expertise. Are well-organized and have the ability to turn plans into reality. Are thorough and responsible.
