Swedish Tourist Association operates nine mountain stations. For autumn and winter 26/27, we are looking for engaged employees who enjoy sharing themselves and want to deliver world-class guest service. We hire for various periods and areas – you choose when you click the "Apply here" button. Read more about the facilities here. Life at a mountain station is varied, exciting, and educational – just like a day in the mountains can be. In addition to accommodation, food, and nature experiences, our operations are built on meetings between people. In our encounters with guests, we create memories, deliver knowledge, and offer experiences beyond the ordinary. As a guide, you play an important role in ensuring guests have a memorable overall experience from the mountain station. With us, you take on great responsibility to fulfill the guest's expectations of adventure – both big and small. Our values – thoughtful, curious, genuine, professional, and engaged – permeate our entire organization and way of working. What does the Guide role entail? You guide groups on our day and evening tours – with a colleague or alone, primarily in the surrounding area. In late winter, multi-day tours and summit tours are added. Supervise interns. Work in the rental/information desk and help guests rent equipment for upcoming adventures, answer questions about weather, tours, and share tips. Support the mountain station with other tasks. Who are you? Other languages are an advantage. Hold a Class B driver's license Merits: basic course in rock climbing or equivalent – as well as SVELAV Pro 1 or equivalent, and previous experience guiding multi-day tours. (Especially relevant for late winter summit tours and multi-day tours, and not a requirement if you want to work with our other offerings.) What you can expect as an employee: Employment form: Seasonal work Position: 85-100% Monthly salary according to collective agreement: Visita/HRF's Green National Agreement and Tourism Supplement Work schedule follows operational needs and includes work on weekdays and weekends, daytime and evening hours Meal deduction according to collective agreement, regulated by the Swedish Tax Agency What do we offer? Staff accommodation with rent deduction, shared with colleagues at the mountain station Internal training relevant to your position, such as sustainability & hospitality, as well as introduction to the guided tours.
