Åre Travel is growing and seeking an additional Property Maintenance Manager for a long-term position year-round. The position comprises approximately 50–75 percent, varying throughout the year. We can offer employment or engagement as an independent contractor with F-tax status.
ABOUT ÅRE TRAVEL
Åre Travel has welcomed satisfied guests since 2014 and manages apartments, villas, and cottages in attractive locations in and around the village of Åre. We also offer property services for property owners, including cottage service, property maintenance, snow removal, grounds care, and window cleaning.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Åre Travel rents and manages a large number of accommodations in central Åre. As a Property Maintenance Manager, you ensure that properties function properly, are well-maintained, and meet the standards our guests and property owners expect.
You work closely with our operations manager, the housekeeping team, and the booking department. Your work days are varied and include both planned maintenance tasks and problems that need quick and efficient solutions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Ongoing inspection of apartments, houses, and common areas.
Troubleshooting and basic repairs.
Preventive maintenance.
Inspection of accommodations and correction of defects before guest arrivals.
Documentation and reporting of damage and maintenance needs.
Contact and coordination with external tradespeople as needed.
Purchasing and handling of materials as agreed.
Basic assembly and practical work in our accommodations.
Snow removal and other outdoor work as needed.

Are practical and experienced in solving problems independently.
Are organized, reliable, and good at reporting back.
See what needs to be done and take initiative.
Understand the importance of quality, safety, and professional conduct.
Are flexible and can reprioritize when unexpected situations arise.
Have experience in property maintenance, construction, crafts, facilities management, or similar fields.
Can communicate in Swedish and preferably also in English.
Have a valid driver's license (Category B) and good physical fitness.
SCOPE AND TERMS
Scope approximately 50–75 percent.
Working hours and schedule vary according to season and business needs.
The position can be performed either as employment or as an engagement for you with F-tax status.
