We are seeking a flexible personal assistant to work with a 70-year-old woman on Södermalm who has extensive care needs. Requirements include at least 2 years of experience in healthcare and elderly care, preferably in personal assistance. Living on Södermalm or nearby is a plus but not required. The client prefers female assistants. You will find a stimulating workplace with a large team where work sometimes occurs alongside another assistant, requiring social competence and the ability to collaborate with others. As a person, you are positive, thorough, and attentive with great patience. It is important that you enjoy working with people and can express yourself well verbally and in writing, as the client has limited speech ability. Respect for the client's integrity and self-determination is your way of working. You are welcome to share the client's interest in art, culture, and plants. Schedule: 3 shifts per week on a fixed schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We appreciate flexibility and willingness to work extra hours if needed. To be considered for this position, you must meet the requirements, provide two references from previous employers, and submit a criminal record extract. As a personal assistant, you will be an important part of his daily life and ongoing rehabilitation. We are looking for someone interested in supporting him both physically and mentally on his journey toward increased function and quality of life. Your responsibilities may include: Support with transfers and training Assistance with personal hygiene and daily activities Active participation in rehabilitation exercises and training General support in everyday life The client is looking for someone who: Has an interest in training and rehabilitation (experience in this is a plus) Is patient, attentive, and has a positive attitude Is responsible and engaged in helping others Has experience with or is interested in working as a personal assistant (experience in the field is an asset but not required) Is flexible and can adapt to different tasks and situations Speaks fluent Swedish Working Hours We are seeking someone for a 50% position. Our client currently lives outside Ekerö, but a move is planned during 2026 to Ekerö town center. Job Duties: In your role as a personal assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with lifting, personal care, tube feeding, respiratory therapy, nebulizer, and PEP mask use. It is important that you have a sharp eye for detail and can identify potential hazards for small children. The majority of your time will be focused on social interaction, play, and fun, where you will motivate and support the girl in her exploration of the world around her. You will also participate in activities such as visits to open preschool.
