Peter Skoglund Assistans AB is seeking a personal assistant for a 27-year-old woman with comprehensive care needs. We are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant and be a trusted and important part of the user's daily life. The user uses a wheelchair and various assistive devices and needs extensive support in her daily living. Job Duties: The work includes personal care, hygiene, transfers, use of various assistive devices, and leisure activities. You will help the user with everything in her daily life and contribute to a safe, calm, and secure environment. Work Schedule: Overnight awake shifts We are looking for someone who: • is trustworthy, responsible, and attentive with a respectful and professional manner • enjoys working with people • has good Swedish in speech and comprehension • can work varying work hours • is willing to learn the routines and assistive devices used. Previous experience in personal assistance or care and welfare is a merit but not a requirement. You will receive introduction and opportunity to learn the work on site. The work includes typical tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, dressing and undressing, household chores, and other daily needs that arise. The client also enjoys danceband music and attending concerts with her favorite band—as her assistant, you would accompany her. The client also enjoys various outings, cooking, baking, and reading.
