Personal Assistant – Full-time Monday–Friday 9 AM–5 PM
We are now seeking a personal assistant for a man in his 60s who lives in Klagshamn. He has significant and ongoing support needs in his daily life, including assistance with basic needs and other personal matters. The position covers daytime hours Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, and is a permanent role where you will work closely with the client, providing security, structure, and quality of life. Job Responsibilities The work involves providing support in all activities the client cannot perform independently. Examples of responsibilities include: Personal hygiene Dressing and undressing Meals and eating assistance Mobility and transfers Support with self-care Supervision and providing a reassuring presence Assistance with daily activities and routines The work is practical and physical, performed in the client's home based on needs and daily condition. What We're Looking For We seek someone who: Holds a valid driver's license Is calm, stable, and trustworthy Is responsible and thorough Has good physical capability Is attentive and respectful in close care situations Is reliable and punctual, as continuity is crucial Experience in personal assistance, healthcare, or care work is desirable but not required. About the Positions I'm looking for two people who want to work awake night shifts. It's important that you're comfortable with night work and can stay awake during your entire shift. It will be a small position at 30% where you work awake nights every other weekend Friday and Saturday 22:00-08:00. I'd like you to be flexible and willing to step in for extra hours when needed. I live with my mom, dad, little brother, and little sister just outside Simrishamn. I need a personal assistant because I have cerebral palsy and epilepsy, which means I need supervision around the clock. Because of my brain injury, I can't use the left side of my body. I train every day to improve my stability and balance, and I need help with that. I can say things like "hello," "mom," and "dad." Otherwise, I communicate by nodding or shaking my head and with some sign language. I also need help with meals, getting dressed and undressed, showering, diaper changes, and of course, playing and having fun. In my free time, I love reading books, singing, swimming, and going in my walker. Music is also a big interest of mine. I'm a happy boy, but also stubborn and determined, and I usually know what I want. Who Am I Looking For? It doesn't matter to me if you're a woman or man or how old you are. What's most important is that we get along, that you have a positive attitude, and that you want to get to know me and become part of my daily life. Previous experience with personal assistance or care is a merit, but not required. What matters most is that you're committed and willing to learn.
