Job Description Securitas is now recruiting security guards for assignments protecting critical infrastructure for Sweden. It's about protecting what must function – around the clock, year-round. As a security guard, you play a crucial role in maintaining security for operations that are important to Sweden. You work with extended authority, often in close collaboration with our clients. The work is varied and can include both stationary and mobile surveillance, access control, or work in a security control center. You will need to make your own decisions in critical situations, have good endurance, and sound judgment. Work shifts vary in length but are often arranged in 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule. Since we operate a facility that runs every day of the year, it is common to work every other weekend. Requirement Specification To be hired, you need to meet certain basic requirements. You must have approved high school grades in Swedish, Swedish 1. Since the role involves driving, you also need a category B driver's license. We prefer that you already have a valid civilian or military security guard training certificate. If you have completed training within the Swedish Armed Forces, for example as part of basic training (GMU), it can be validated for civilian use. Note that security guard training and GMU must have been completed in 2016 or later, and the training certificate must not be older than five years at the time of application. But for the right person, we will provide training if needed. Security Clearance Please note that this position is classified as a security role and requires you to undergo a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). The assessment aims to investigate lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any potential vulnerabilities according to the Security Police's regulations and guidelines.
