Noa personal assistance AB is now seeking new stars to support a man in his 30s living in Simrishamn municipality in beautiful Österlen. A man with a spark in his eye who uses a wheelchair and needs someone to be his right hand with tasks he cannot manage himself. This includes personal hygiene, physical therapy, transfers, and household work. Currently he lives with his family, and there are a dog and birds in the home. However, plans and preparations are underway to move to Kristianstad municipality in late summer/fall if all goes well. You can begin your employment in Simrishamn as a substitute as needed and then follow him to Kristianstad to help create something new and exciting. The right person may be offered a permanent position, which would be a plus. In Simrishamn, work hours are 9-16 and 18-00. You are: A woman aged 25-45 Comfortable with pets Flexible Calm and confident Speaks and writes fluent Swedish Driver's license/own car is a merit Able to work all hours of the day and long shifts We will require a criminal record check. Personal Assistant to Wonderful Woman in Viken - Hourly Temp Position
Description of the Position as Matilda's Personal Assistant Matilda is a 25-year-old woman with Rett Syndrome who lives in her own apartment with round-the-clock assistance (with on-call support at night). Matilda enjoys music, reading, films, and spending time with family and friends. She is normally an active person who loves exercise, dancing, swimming, traveling, and going to concerts, but due to pain-related issues, she currently sometimes needs support at a slower pace. You will become part of a wonderful team of assistants who will welcome you into the group and provide you with secure and safe onboarding/training. As Matilda's personal assistant, you will become an important part of her everyday life. You will: Assist with all ADL (personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, mealtimes, and more). Support her in activities and with certain mobility assistance. Read her body language and facial expressions (as she does not speak, but has much to communicate). Ensure she receives physical, intellectual, and social stimulation for a safe and meaningful everyday life. Be creative and flexible in finding solutions for her daily needs. Participate in her large circle of friends, where friends and assistants typically meet several times a week to do things together. Matilda can sometimes, due to her pain-related issues, display challenging behaviors. Therefore, it is an advantage if you have previous experience with situations that require calm and professional handling.
