Our customer is a woman in her 60s who lives together with her husband and their dog in a house in the countryside. You need to have a driver's license and access to a car to get to and from work. You also need to like and tolerate dogs. Our customer has many leisure interests such as flowers, gardening, sewing, dogs, health, and writing. You don't need knowledge of these interests, but you need to be curious and willing to learn to best assist. The customer is a good-humored person with an easygoing nature. For the personal chemistry to work, you need to be someone who isn't conflict-averse, who dares to motivate and push the customer in daily life, and who can joke and has a good sense of humor. It is a merit if you are interested in health as the customer only eats raw food. You need to be able to cook; the customer will teach you to prepare raw food, but there needs to be an interest in cooking. It is also a merit if you speak English and have good computer skills. The customer has rheumatoid arthritis and amputated legs and therefore needs help with daily tasks such as housework, hygiene, and the opportunity to pursue their leisure interests. About the position Our client lives with his family in Sollentuna outside Stockholm. He is a very social, lively, cheerful boy who likes animals, singing, playing music and going on outings. You will receive personalized introduction/training in all aspects of the client's support needs and routines. The assistant's role and experience We are looking for someone who is confident, attentive, reliable and takes their work seriously. Our client loves going on outings so for this position we are looking for someone who can plan and prepare a fun everyday life for him. This could mean packing a picnic bag and going to Skansen or visiting the Swedish Museum of Natural History or doing another meaningful, fun activity. If you have experience with epilepsy, this is a merit but not a requirement. Personal suitability comes before education.
