The position is a personal assistant role for a 6-year-old boy living with his family outside Värnamo. The boy has significant support needs. Strong emphasis is placed on suitability and experience with healthcare services is a requirement. Most importantly, you must be calm, attentive, and have strong empathetic abilities. Part of the day involves dual staffing, where two assistants work together. Work hours: Monday-Sunday (times may vary and change) with some dual assistance shifts: 07:00-17:00 07:30-16:30 17:00-21:30 21:00-21:30 We're looking for someone who is: * Female * Confident * Calm * Experienced in healthcare * Non-smoker * Mature * Responsible * Attentive * Has experience with children Requirement: Driver's license and car to commute to the workplace. About the Job Health care temporary position at 65% with possibility of permanent employment. Employment: Hourly temporary work (when regular assistants are unable to work) Schedule: The schedule offers long shifts 08:00 - 23:30 (Fri, Sat 08:00-24:00). Before your first shift, you will shadow one of my regular assistants approximately 4-5 times to get up to speed with the job. About Me I am a woman 55+ living with my partner in a small community called Norra Unnaryd. It is located about 40 km outside Jönköping. My disability means I need your arms and legs in various situations, but I direct my own care. I use a wheelchair due to a muscle disease and need help with personal care, cooking, and household tasks, among other things. A day with me can be anything from a calm day at home with various tasks, both indoors and outdoors, to an active outing – perhaps shopping at Gekås in Ullared. I enjoy baking, cooking, dining out, ice hockey, and spending time with family and friends. For us to get along well, I believe you are: A woman with personal maturity. Reliable, thorough, and attentive. Someone who enjoys working with people and can read and adapt to my needs. Important to Know: You must be a non-smoker and tolerate pets. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. You need a driver's license and access to your own car to get to and from work (during work, you will drive my wheelchair-accessible vehicle). Assistive devices are available in the home. Good physical condition is needed as we often take long walks. Due to the nature of the work, I am seeking only female assistants.
