The unit manager holds overall budget and operational responsibility as well as rehabilitation responsibility for staff and then distributes assignments and areas of responsibility to the assistant unit manager based on the facility's needs. The assistant unit manager handles operational tasks related to daily operations, personnel matters, and also plays an active role in strategic matters related to development, quality assurance, and improvement proposals. Decision-making may be included based on delegation. You support the work of leading staff, following up on the work environment, and contributing to a safe and healthy workplace. You participate in recruitment, onboarding, and competence development and support staff with questions related to daily work. You will also actively support the unit manager in budget work through documentation, follow-up, and improvement proposals.
