Hello! My name is Felicia (called Flisan) and I'm 19 years old. I enjoy swimming, exercising, taking wheelchair walks, people-watching, and listening to music. I'm expanding my team and am therefore looking for one additional assistant. I have a syndrome called Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome. This means I have an intellectual disability, epilepsy that is under control, a heart condition, back issues, etc. Job duties: Help with everyday tasks such as hygiene, getting dressed, feeding and administering medication through a feeding tube, as well as wheelchair walks, equine therapy, trips to the swimming hall for rehabilitation training, outings with family, and other indoor and outdoor activities. You should be comfortable in a school environment since I need to bring my assistant with me there. We are looking for you—an engaged, responsible, and cheerful woman who doesn't hesitate to take initiative in play and activities. Good physical condition is an advantage since there is some lifting involved in the work (assistive devices are available). It is important that you are calm and confident in your role and have a great understanding of privacy, as the workplace is largely in Flisan's home. The family consists of Flisan, her dad, and younger sister. It is a merit if you have any experience with alternative communication, disabilities, and managing epilepsy under medical control, as well as being a good team member.
