Best Side Gig in Nässjö - Make Money Where the Party Is!
Best side gig in town - make money where the party is! "A year ago, I barely knew what blackjack was. Now I'm working at Cherry's best bars and restaurants, running the tables, and earning more than a lot of my friends." – Linn, 21 years old What's it really like to work as a blackjack dealer? Linn, one of our team members, tells you: What the job is actually about: You stand at the blackjack table, deal the cards, keep track of the game, and make sure everyone is having a good time. You set the vibe. One night you might have a table full of girls on a bachelorette party, the next night a company celebrating their Christmas dinner, and then a fun group out for after-work drinks. You're the face of the operation – warm, clear, professional. And no, you don't need to know anything about cards or gaming. All that's required is that you're social, calm under pressure, and actually enjoy meeting people. The rest you'll learn from Cherry's free internal training. Why this particular job? I've tried pretty much everything – cashier, serving, telemarketing. This is the first side gig that actually feels like more than just trading hours for money. Why you should choose Cherry: No two nights are the same, so you'll never get bored. You get paid to be social and present in a fun environment instead of hiding behind a screen or in a storage room. Every shift becomes an adventure meeting new people, so you get really sharp at reading people, chatting, and staying on top of things (without even thinking about it). You quickly realize that you're a big part of the vibe and things just don't have the same flow without you. You build experience that makes you great at any service job (and honestly, life in general). It's a flexible job you can combine with studying or other commitments. About Cherry: Cherry Spelglädje has existed since 1963 and is Sweden's largest player in land-based commercial gaming, operating over 80% of the market. We're about 600 people spread across 40 districts around the country. On the floor, Cherry feels like a great team where the sense of community is strong and many find lifelong friends. Who we think fits: We're looking for someone who contributes to a good atmosphere at the tables, creates a safe gaming environment, and makes guests feel welcome. You can tell right away when the right person is standing there. You're a social person who loves the pace and doesn't get stressed when things move fast. You think evenings and weekends are prime time. The practical details: Scope: minimum 4 weekend nights/month, approx. 20 hours – more if you want Times: evenings and nights, primarily Fridays and Saturdays Wage: from 161 kr/h + OB, commission, vacation pay, pension contributions Collective agreement via HRF, affiliated with Visita. Age requirement: 18 years old This is one of the few jobs where who you are as a person actually matters, not what's on your CV. Send your application directly and I hope to see you soon!
