About the Department The Radiology Department is part of the Imaging and Functional Medicine division and performs approximately 24,000 diagnostic examinations annually. The equipment includes two ultrasound machines, one MRI, one CT scanner, and two conventional X-ray machines, one of which has fluoroscopy capability. Both planned and acute diagnostics are conducted in modern, fit-for-purpose facilities. You will join a team of experienced radiologists, radiologic technologists, nursing assistants, and administrative staff. Physician turnover has been very low in recent years, which testifies to a stable work environment. In the coming years, both facility renovations and equipment upgrades are planned. Responsibilities General radiology including conventional X-ray, ultrasound, and CT. Acute and planned services. Close collaboration with other specialties. Opportunity for on-call/standby duty, but not required. Qualifications Specialist certification in radiology. Experience with ultrasound, CT, and acute care operations. Knowledge of fluoroscopy and nephrostomy tube placement is a plus. Personal Qualities Team collaboration and team spirit. Independence and initiative. BUP Neuropsychiatry is now seeking two specialist physicians for our new unit, BUP Neuropsychiatry Southwest 2, which will begin operations in August 2026. We are looking for you if you want to work clinically and be involved in building a new unit with high ambitions. Our service is based on a clear and long-term vision: all children and young people should be offered equitable, accessible, and evidence-based care – at the right time and at the right level of care. During the start-up phase, the unit will be located at Globen at a clinic within BUP Stockholm and will move in August 2027 to newly renovated facilities in Solberga (Älvsjö).
