Substitute teachers needed for classes at Högbergsskolan, Malmenskolan, and Smedenskolan. About the Job As a substitute teacher, you will be contacted as needed to cover shorter or longer absences. You will have the opportunity to contribute to learning for upper secondary students in various courses (including Swedish, English, history, social studies, mathematics, etc.). You will work based on the regular teacher's lesson plans or from a substitute folder. You will be welcomed and shown where you need to be for the day and instructed on what is expected of you. Ambassador for the Project Place for Young Culture
Are you between 18–25 years old and passionate about culture, creativity, and change? Do you want to help create space for young people in Gothenburg? Then we're looking for you! The Role of Ambassador We're looking for three ambassadors who want to develop our activities together with our current ambassadors, based at our activity center in Västra Frölunda in Gothenburg. As an ambassador, you become a co-creator in the project Place for Young Culture – an initiative about creating safe and inspiring environments where young people get to participate, test ideas, and grow together within their creative interests. Our future ambassadors should want to influence and contribute to change. As part of the project, you will seek out and interview other young people. As an ambassador, you'll be part of a collective environment where we strengthen each other. You're expected to take initiative for your own activities, based on both your own ideas and others' needs. The activities have access to our facilities – studio, music studio, rehearsal spaces, podcast room, and more. Our ambassadors receive an introduction to folk education and training in democratic leadership. You'll also learn to organize activities, lead groups, and have the opportunity to realize your own and others' ideas together with other young people. Your Profile We're looking for someone who is curious, engaged, and comfortable meeting new people. To thrive in this role, you need to be someone who has a desire to lead, teach, and create together with others. Our current ambassadors have expertise in various art forms, such as theater, DJ, film, art, and podcast. Now we're looking for someone with primarily knowledge or interest in music and crafts. If you have experience in multiple art forms, that's a bonus. But most importantly – you want to inspire others, build relationships, and be part of creating something bigger than yourself. About the Project Place for Young Culture is financed by Allmänna Arvsfonden and runs through June 2027. We operate from our activity center at Gruvgatan in the Högsbo industrial area and collaborate with schools and youth activities in the area.
