We are seeking course instructors for our children's dance program at Aktiv Ungdom Malmö for the fall semester of 2026. The position involves teaching approximately 2-4 hours/week. This is a part-time hourly position working on weekday evenings and/or Saturdays over a 10-12 week period with a break for fall school holidays. The assignment runs fall 2026, approximately August/September through December. Positions are based at various locations throughout Malmö (Limhamn, Hyllie, Kirseberg, etc.) We are looking for you if you: are passionate about dance, love dancing, and enjoy sharing the joy of dance in a group setting. have solid knowledge of dance fundamentals and want to teach and share your dance expertise with others. are a social person who can create a sense of community and safety for all children and youth, as well as their parents/guardians. enjoy development, both in yourself and your students. are self-motivated, as you will work independently during your dance classes, including opening/closing/alarming the facility, taking attendance, etc. We are primarily seeking dance instructors for our program with younger children, ages approximately 2/3 years up to about 8 years old, with a focus on Children's Dance, dance play, and children's rhythm, and you are welcome to have knowledge in several different dance styles. We also seek instructors for our family dance program with adults and children together. You typically work with an assistant instructor or another instructor. It is a merit if you have worked with children in different age groups, and some form of dance training is desirable but not required. We are open to applicants with different knowledge within all forms of dance, rhythm, etc. with small children. Aktiv Ungdom Malmö is a children's and youth organization that operates a community-driven Culture School for children and young people, ages 2-approximately 19 years, on weekday evenings and weekends in the areas of dance, theater, musical, and art school. We have several activity locations throughout Malmö, including Kirseberg, Limhamn, Malmö city, and other places. Our ideology and working method is based on age-group methodology with a strong focus on the social aspects of the group. We naturally also value the development of both the group and each individual student, but completely without an elite mentality.
