About Unika Sporredsvägen 24 Sporredsvägen 24 is a residential care facility specialized in supporting individuals with a rare condition called PWS. The operation launched in spring and we are expanding our staff team further by fall. The group home has 6 apartments for adults over 18 years old for both men and women. Sporredsvägen 24 is located in a wonderfully calm and peaceful environment in Kållered, yet only a 10-minute walk from public transportation. About the Role of Support Assistant As a Support Assistant, you will provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will assist residents in their daily routines and activities based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we focus on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a Support Assistant, you work using clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal interaction to create security and predictability in residents' everyday lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the facility's resources and budget. Qualifications You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, and enjoy cooperating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can understand individuals' needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: • Very good ability in Swedish in both speech and writing. • Good computer skills and experience with documentation. • Experience working in healthcare and care services. • Secondary education such as a children's and leisure program, healthcare and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or university education in a relevant field. • Valid driver's license. Merits if you also have: • Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal interaction. • Experience working with complex support needs. Employment Terms Employment Type: Fixed-term employment as needed Degree of Service: Varying Working Hours: Irregular hours distributed Monday-Sunday, day, evening, and overnight on-call shifts. Employment Terms Employment Type: Permanent position starting with a 6-month probationary period. Position: 75-80% Scheduling: Irregular schedule Monday-Sunday, day, evening, and night shifts.
