About Unika Björkåsgatan Unika Björkåsgatan is a group home under the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The operation serves individuals in category 1 of the target group: intellectual disability and/or autism. The facility accommodates 6 residents and our work methodology is based on LSS guiding principles. The home is located in central Mölndal with good access to public transportation. About the Support Assistant Role As a support assistant, you will provide individually adapted support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as your starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, drawing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work using clarifying pedagogy and low-affect approaches to create security and predictability in residents' daily lives. At the same time, we maintain a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the operation's resources and budget. In the coordinator role, you will primarily provide support and services based on residents' wishes and work to ensure each person has a meaningful daily life. This role involves overall responsibility for daily management, staffing planning, resource optimization, systems administration, and follow-up. The coordinator develops and implements work tasks within the operation(s) in a productive and efficient manner, in close collaboration with the Operations Manager, based on current objectives, strategies, and other guidelines. You will also handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, purchasing, processing invoices, etc. Qualifications You are relationship-oriented, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, and you enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can understand individuals' needs. We place great importance on personal suitability. Requirements: Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills and experience with documentation. Experience working in healthcare and care services. Upper secondary education such as child and leisure program, care and welfare program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field. Meritorious if you also have: Experience in psychiatry, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), and low-affect approaches. Experience working with complex support needs. Support Assistant to Sociopsychiatric Unit

The Care and Social Services Department with its approximately 1,500 employees is one of the departments in the Municipality of Mölndal and includes elderly care, support services and healthcare. Konditorivägen is a group home in Lindome for young adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities, substance abuse and mental health issues such as psychosis and self-harm problems. Here there are six apartments with separate entrances and outdoor patios as well as communal spaces. The residents are high-functioning users with complex needs who receive individually tailored support in their daily lives with the aim of becoming independent. We work with low-affective communication and other evidence-based methods to create a safe and stable environment. The team working here consists of ten committed people who share knowledge and develop together and who support each other in situations that can sometimes be very demanding. We are now looking for two new colleagues who want to be part of creating the best possible everyday life for our users. 2 position(s). WORK TASKS As a support assistant, you work to support the user in their daily life by creating a comprehensible, manageable and meaningful existence and by working preventively and in a structured manner. You provide professional support and strengthen each individual's self-esteem and confidence in their own abilities - all work is based on the user's individually prepared implementation plan. You are involved in establishing and/or maintaining social networks. Your role also involves supporting users in developing their sense of belonging, providing support in social activities and approaching the job market. The goal is to support full participation in society based on each person's individual wishes. You provide support in daily tasks such as planning, laundry, cleaning, nutrition, cooking, shopping, finances, medication and healthcare contacts. Some of the users have pets. Verbal threats and suicide attempts occur frequently, but we have methods to handle this. You are part of a work team with support assistants and support educators. You work with social documentation in the documentation system Treserva and continuously follow up and revise the implementation plans. We work with activity-adapted and flexible schedules. The needs are continuously adjusted based on the operation's requirements, which means you need to be prepared to work during day, evening, weekend and sleeping on-call shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has • Education as a support assistant, treatment assistant, social educator, nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry, psychiatric care attendant or other education that the employer deems equivalent. • Knowledge and experience in self-harm behavior, suicide prevention and psychiatric conditions such as EIPS, depression, PTSD. • Experience working with people with neuropsychiatric disabilities. • Knowledge of low-affective communication (LAB), motivational interviewing (MI) and independent living (ESL). • Excellent knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. It is a merit if you have training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and experience working with Timecare and Treserva. As it is sometimes difficult to reach the unit by public transport at certain times, it is good if you have a driver's license and access to your own car. Type of employment: Permanent employment.
