About the position: As an IT Systems Engineer, you will become part of a leading company in the marine defense industry where you work in the Information Security and IT Architecture section. Here, IT systems for marine platforms are developed and further developed with a focus on information security and robust solutions for complex IT environments. The team consists of approximately 25 people with varying experience, and you will work closely with IT architects, information security specialists, and other IT Systems Engineers. In the role, you will work with development and further development of IT systems for marine platforms. You will be part of a complex IT environment where custom-developed solutions are combined with commercial software to create robust and secure systems. You work closely with developers, systems engineers, and other technical specialists to ensure that IT systems meet both operational and technical requirements throughout the development process, from analysis and design to implementation, integration, verification, and documentation. Your main responsibilities: - Develop and further develop IT systems and associated infrastructure. - Work with system configuration, scripting, and automation. - Participate in integration and verification of IT systems. - Create and maintain technical documentation. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: - Have completed higher education or university studies in software development, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Have at least one year of experience working with IT systems, software development, or infrastructure development. - Have experience with or interest in systems development, scripting, and Linux and/or Windows environments. - Speak and write fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work. It is meritorious but not required if you have: - Military background. - Knowledge of DevOps and/or DevSecOps. - Experience in product development. - Experience working with complex and distributed systems.
