JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a primary school teacher at Centralskolan, you will, together with subject colleagues and your work team, be responsible for leading instruction in grades 7-9 in accordance with the curriculum's mandate. You plan, conduct and evaluate instruction with a focus on creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for students. At Centralskolan, we value collegial learning and collaboration. You will work closely with your colleagues to develop instruction and create the best possible conditions for student learning. The work also includes assessment and documentation of student knowledge development as well as active participation in the school's development work. We continuously work to develop accessible learning environments and language and knowledge-developing working methods, and we are seeking an engaged teacher who wants to be part of this work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • is a qualified primary school teacher with strong subject knowledge in mathematics • is a clear leader in the classroom who plans instruction based on students' prerequisites • has good communication skills and a strong ability to establish and develop relationships with students, guardians and colleagues • understands that good relationships promote the entire teaching situation and create security for you and your students • is inspired by young people's curiosity and engagement and thereby contributes to active learning with each individual student • is flexible toward all everyday and long-term changes that are part of pedagogical work We place particular emphasis on personal suitability and collaboration skills in the recruitment process.
