Your work is characterized by responsibility, collaboration, and striving to provide the best possible care. As a nursing assistant with us, you protect our residents' self-determination, integrity, and participation so that they feel well-being. We work together to provide the elderly with a meaningful and stimulating daily life. You can expect varied tasks including: helping with meals, dressing and undressing, mobility assistance, personal hygiene, accompaniment, walks, and creating security and reducing isolation. Service tasks include laundry, changing beds, shopping, and cleaning. Documenting the care and support you provide is an important part of daily work. The role also includes performing certain health and medical care tasks as delegated. Your profile We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant or is studying to become one. Previous experience working in residential care facilities is an asset, as is knowledge and/or experience working with people with dementia. You are accustomed to working with digital tools such as mobile phones, computers, or tablets and possess good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to document the care you provide and communicate with our residents. Since certain work tasks require good physical capability, it is important that you meet this requirement. A valid B-class driver's license is required. We expect you to have personal maturity and be both self-directed and service-oriented. You take responsibility, are flexible, and can handle stressful situations. You are proactive and responsive to residents' needs and show respect for others. You work well with residents, family members, colleagues, and other staff. About the workplace Edshultsgården's residential care facility welcomes you with its distinguished exterior and laughter from many children eating their lunch in the same facilities. Coziness and a homey feel characterize both Edshultsgården's values and departments. Edshultsgården is divided into 3 floors and 9 units, all with 24-hour staffing and person-centered care. Each unit has 8-9 residents, but the long corridors create the feeling of a regular apartment building. In addition, we have the benefit of having 3 quality leaders, a meals coordinator, and an activities coordinator who focus extra attention on the quality of our care. Edshultsgården has a dementia focus in 8 of its units and a somatic focus in one unit.
