We invite an animal caretaker to join our team in the Ungulates Department What you'll do daily: take care of the daily care and welfare of animals in the Ungulates Department; maintain order and cleanliness in animal enclosures (mostly physical work in various weather conditions); prepare and portion feed for animals (in accordance with guidelines); observe animal behavior and feeding patterns, inform responsible staff members of any changes, and keep observation records. This job is right for you if: you are accustomed to physical work (not just willing to try); are able to work carefully and responsibly, even if the work is monotonous; understand that safety regulations are not subject to personal interpretation; can take responsibility even when no one is watching; are ready to work in dust (hay, straw); are looking for stable work with clear rules; can communicate freely in Latvian. This job is probably not right for you if: you find it difficult to follow rules and routines; physical work tires you out or demotivates you quickly. We offer: full-time work with shift schedule (work starts at 8:30 AM); salary during probation 1000 EUR per month (gross), after probation period and completion of training 1200 EUR per month (gross); sustainable social support (health insurance and accident insurance after probation period, additional vacation days, financial support in significant life situations and other collective agreement benefits); an inclusive work environment as well as an open, collaboration-focused team and company culture.
