No. 90000068977 announces a competition for vacant positions in scientific staff: FACULTY OF NATURAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY Water Systems and Biotechnology Institute for one (1) RESEARCH ASSISTANT position (full-time) – Field: 2. Engineering Sciences and Technologies, 2.1. Civil and Transport Engineering Sciences; sub-field: Heat, Gas and Water Engineering Systems Requirements for candidates: · In accordance with RTU requirements and the State Administration Act. · Experience, knowledge, competencies: in accordance with the field of science and specialization. · The vacancy is intended to support scientific research activities in projects implemented by the Water Systems and Biotechnology Institute. Salary rate – 17.00–19.00 EUR/h gross Candidates wishing to participate in the competition must submit electronically (signed with an advanced electronic signature) to the Department of Human and Organizational Development of Riga Technical University at ([email protected]): an application addressed to the rector expressing intent to participate in the competition; a curriculum vitae indicating scientific, pedagogical, and organizational work experience and a list of publications from the last 6 (six) years (it is recommended to attach the list of publications as a separate attachment), as well as any other documents the candidate wishes to include to better present their qualifications; copies of documents confirming scientific/academic degrees or higher education and, if necessary, other documents stipulated by regulatory acts (e.g., documents confirming state language proficiency, etc.), presenting the originals if the candidate is applying to work at RTU for the first time and has not previously submitted these document copies to the Personnel Department; a public presentation on their scientific activities to be delivered to the structural unit (or council/committee) in a timely manner before election.
