Riga Technical University reg. No. 90000068977 announces a competition for vacant scientific staff positions:
FACULTY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND ENERGY at the Institute of Information Technology
for one (1) SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT position (0.4 FTE) – in the field of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information and Communication Technology; in the sub-field of Systems Analysis, Modeling and Design.
Duties and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science and Information Technology;
Good knowledge of Latvian and English languages, necessary for direct work duties;
Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity;
Knowledge in the development and application of agent-based systems;
Knowledge in software development;
Analytical approach to problem-solving.
Salary from 4.98 EUR/hour

Candidates wishing to participate in the competition must submit electronically (signed with a secure electronic signature) to the Department of Human and Organizational Development at Riga Technical University ([email protected]):
an application addressed to the Rector requesting participation in the competition;
a CV (Curriculum Vitae) indicating scientific, pedagogical, and organizational work experience and a list of published works from the last 6 years (it is recommended to attach the list of publications as a separate appendix), as well as any other documents the candidate wishes to attach to supplement the application and better present their qualifications;
copies of documents confirming scientific/academic degrees or higher education and, if necessary, other documents as required by applicable regulations (for example, documents confirming state language proficiency, etc.), with originals to be presented if the candidate is participating in a competition for employment at RTU for the first time and has not previously submitted copies of these documents to the Personnel Department;
a public presentation report on their scientific activities, to be presented to the structural unit (or council/board) in a timely manner before election.
