Madona Municipal Central Administration (registration No. 40900037250) invites applications for a Land Planning Specialist position on a fixed-term basis in the Real Estate Management and Territorial Planning Department. Main job duties: Monitor and manage real estate (land, residential and non-residential property) in Madona Municipality in accordance with applicable laws of the Republic of Latvia and the Madona Municipal Territory Plan; Maintain knowledge of and track the geodetic control network point system in the municipality; Conduct surveys and boundary markings on municipal land parcels; Review and coordinate boundary marking reports, land boundary plans, encumbrance plans, and land planning projects prepared by cadastral surveyors, and organize cadastral surveying on municipal properties; Prepare and issue sketches, diagrams, and copies upon request; Provide consultations, prepare opinions, draft decisions and graphic attachments on matters related to real estate formation, division, use, transactions with real estate, etc. We offer: Fixed-term employment (until December 15, 2026) with a three-month probationary period; standard working hours (40 hours per week); Partial remote work opportunity; Monthly salary of 1300 EUR (gross); Additional leave benefits and vacation allowance. Requirements: Higher education in land planning, geodesy, land management, cartography, or a related geodesy sub-discipline in construction sciences, meeting at least level 5 of the Latvia Qualification Framework; Practical experience in land planning and real estate management in state or municipal institutions will be considered an advantage; Experience working with the Real Property State Cadastre Information System database; knowledge and application of relevant regulatory acts; Ability to plan and organize work and make independent decisions; Accuracy, high sense of responsibility, and results-oriented approach; Good communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work under high-intensity conditions; State language proficiency at an advanced level; Category "B" driver's license.
