Lindholmens Technical Gymnasium has approximately 1,000 students and 90 employees and offers Gothenburg's broadest range of technical education – both practical and theoretical. Here you can study the Electrical and Energy Program, Industrial Technology Program, Maritime Education, Technology Program, and HVAC and Property Program. The school is certified as a Technology College, and the HVAC and Property Program is also certified as a VVS-College, which means close collaboration with the industry and high-quality education. The ventilation specialization at Lindholmens Technical Gymnasium is Sweden's first industry-certified ventilation education within VVS-college. Job Responsibilities As a trade teacher with us, you plan, conduct, and develop instruction together with your colleagues in the work team. You primarily teach subjects within the ventilation specialization and partly within HVAC and property subjects, and we would appreciate if you have experience in multiple areas such as HVAC, refrigeration, property management, but primarily in the ventilation field. You work with practical and varied instruction where student development is central, and you provide continuous feedback to help them reach their full potential. An important part of the role is contact with the working world, and you will, among other things: Manage students' workplace-based learning (APL). Collaborate with companies regarding APL placements. Dialogue with APL supervisors and companies. Participate in industry councils to develop education in line with industry needs. You thus become an important link between school and working life. The role also includes mentoring where you support students in their studies and development. The work is conducted in collaboration with student welfare services, guardians, and external actors. Qualifications We are looking for someone with professional experience in the HVAC and property field who has current industry knowledge and broad expertise, primarily in the ventilation field. Teaching certification is desirable but not required. What matters most to us is your professional skill and your commitment. If you lack teaching credentials, we can offer a fixed-term employment, and for the right person there is an opportunity to obtain teaching credentials during employment.
